通过分析人体血液及其它体液的细胞及分子物质的变化，检验科为临床疾病的诊治及探索疾病的发生机制提供信息。科室下设临床化学室、临床免疫室、临床基础检验室、临床微生室及临床基因扩增室。临床化学室拥有2台全自动生化分析仪，开展肝功能、肾功能、电解质、血脂及心肌损伤标志物等一系列检测项目；免疫室拥有一台全自动酶免疫分析系统、1台ACCESS免疫分析系统及1台Roche  E170全自动电化学发光仪，主要开展乙型肝炎、丙型肝炎、艾滋病、梅毒等传染性疾病、激素以及肿瘤标志物的免疫检测；临床基础检验室配备血球计数仪、IQ200尿液工作站、血凝仪，主要完成血液、尿液、粪便及其它体液等的常规分析以及出凝血项目的分析；临床微生物室配备有VITEK 2全自动细菌鉴定仪、Back-Alart 3D血培养仪及生物安全柜，开展病原微生物分析鉴定及药物敏感试验，为临床合理使用抗生素提供指导。临床基因扩增室配备有Roche  LightCycler荧光定量PCR仪，开展病原微生物的分子生物学检查。全科28人，本科以上学历12人，占43%，科室建立了一套独立的实验室信息管理系统，并与医院信息管理系统相联，实现网上实验数据管理、质控管理等信息共享。检验科从1995年起参加了卫生部及福建省临床检验中心组织的室间质评活动，并取得了较好成绩，三次获福建省临检中心“全面质量控制先进单位”光荣称号, 2003年12月获得福建省省直级青年文明号光荣称号.

    The department of laboratory provides useful information for the clinical diagnoses, treatments as well as investigation of the etiologies of diseases by analyzing blood and other human body fluids. Its subdivisions are as follow: Lab of Clinical Chemistry, Lab of Clinical Immunology, Lab of Clinical Basic Analysis, Lab of Clinical Microbiology, and Lab of Gene Amplification as well. Equipped with two automated biochemical analyzers, Lab of clinical chemistry laboratory is able to develop a great variety of biochemical analyses,  Hepatic function, Renal function, Serum electrolytes, blood fat as well as markers for myocardial impairment included; Equipped with three automated chemiluminescence systems(Roche E170), an ACCESS Immunoassay System , Lab of Clinical Immunology is able to carry out hormone analyses, immunodetection for tumor markers and serum immunological analyses facilitating the diagnoses of contagious diseases such as  hepatitis B & C, AIDS, syphilis; Equipped with automated blood cell counter, IQ200 automated urinalysis system,and automated hemagglutination analyzer, Lab of Clinical Basic Analysis develops analyses of bleeding or blood coagulation and some routine analyses of blood, urine, stool as well as other body fluids; Equipped with automatic bacterial identifier(VITEK2),Back-Alart3D hemo-cultivator and biological safety cabinet, Lab of Clinical Microbiology performs pathogenic microorganism analyses and drug sensitivity test, which provides clinical guidance for rational use of antibiotics. Equipped with fluorescent quantitated PCR amplifier (Roche LightCycler), Lab of Gene Amplification performs molecular biological analysis for pathogenic microorganism. The number of the staff in our department is 28, among which 12 (43%) have an educational background of undergraduate. Our department has set up an independent laboratory information administrative system lateral to the hospital’s, which greatly facilitates real-time information share as well as administration of laboratory data and cybernation. Since 1995 our department has taken part in inter-division quality evaluation sponsored by the National Center for Clinical Laboratory (NCCL) and Fujian Provincial Clinical Centre Laboratory (FJCCL) and harvested considerable achievements. For three times our department has been granted as the honorable title of “Advanced Unit in Total Quality Control”. And our department was entitled as youth civilization unit among provincially affiliated units in Dec. 2003.
